Dried Blood Spot Analysis Presents New Opportunities

More and more, our clients want to know if Dried Blood Spot (DBS) analysis is a suitable technique for pre-clinical and clinical studies.  Among those advantages, sample sizes can be reduced, biohazard risks avoided and lessened subject stress.  KCAS is committed to our clients' success and sees tremendous advantage to the use of this technique.  Dr. Gene Ray explains more in his brief about the pros and cons of DBS analysis.

Research Excellence in the Heart of America

The Heart of America is the heart of contract research according to a study conducted by Massachusetts - based Simon Management Group.  The study reveals Kansas City is an area rich with resources that big pharma and startup biotechs look to in supporting research programs.  In the past three years, nearly every major pharmaceutical company has partnered with a Kansas City-based organization with expertise in each phase of research.  The CROs in Kansas City account for over 9,000 jobs in the metro area.
